SALES SUPPORT REP

We are very passionate about making (and eating!) the best small-batch, handcrafted chocolates and we are looking for chocolatiers to work in our kitchen/factory in the Mission. This is a part- or full-time position within a company with future growth opportunities.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Handle all clerical and administrative tasks 
  • Provide excellent customer service while resolving issues
  • Filing paperwork and ordering office supplies
  • Assist in the shipping department with order fulfillment
  • Support sales staff in any way needed

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years Administrative Assistant or front office experience
  • Must have excellent technology skills (preferably with Apple products)
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Must be punctual and reliable
  • Well organized and a proven problem solver
  • Passion for premium chocolates (tell us about it in your cover letter!)

NORTHERN CALIFORNIA SALES REP (San Francisco and Peninsula)

Charles Chocolates, named Best Chocolatier by San Francisco Magazine, has an amazing opportunity for a proven Northern California regional sales rep.

 The successful candidate will join the Charles Chocolates team with the responsibility of generating new business, increasing revenue with existing business, and growing overall market share in the N. California territory. The Sales Representative will have complete ownership of San Francisco and the Peninsula extending to Santa Cruz/Monterey/Carmel.

    Qualifications:

    • Track record of being highly customer focused and building and maintaining excellent relationships
    • Exhibit working knowledge of industry trends and competition
    • Strong oral, written, and presentation/public speaking skills
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quota and developing and managing a consistent sales pipeline
    • Minimum 2 years of sales experience; food industry sales experience is preferred
    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Willingness to travel - minimum 50% of the time
    • Clean driving record and vehicle in good working condition
