SPRING AND EASTER GIFT GUIDE


Milk and Dark Chocolate Eggs
Made with our luscious milk or bittersweet chocolate, each egg is decorated with a colorful, modern pattern and available in either a 2 or 4 piece box. A clear lid shows off the contents of the box.

Spring Fleur de Sel Caramels
Our Fleur de Sel Caramels our available with images evocative of Spring – bunnies, hens and chicks adorn the tops of these chocolates. They are available in our signature blue and brown box that holds twenty pieces of this delightful treat.

The Easter Collection
Our Easter Edible Chocolate Box is filled with eighteen pieces of our favorite Spring time chocolates, including caramels and marzipans. The lid of the box is decorated with bunnies and tied with a lemongrass colored ribbon.

  • TEA AND CHOCOLATE PAIRINGS WITH TEANCE

    March 20th, 7pm ($20/person)
    While tea and chocolate have both been important culinary indulgences throughout the ages, they have typically been savored individually. The combination of tea and chocolates, particularly Asian teas, has never been fully explored in the chocolate world – until now. After months of tea and chocolate selection pairings and tastings, a special collaboration between Charles Chocolates and Teance Fine Teas resulted in the creation of our exclusive collection of
    tea infused chocolates.


    Now you can join us in exploring the pairing of chocolate and tea in our monthly Tea and Chocolate Pairing classes. In partnership with
    Teance Fine Teas, we will sample a variety of hand crafted chocolates by Charles Chocolates and pair them with teas sourced and selected by Teance Fine Teas. We will discuss the techniques and nuances of selecting pairings to create a harmonious balance between chocolate and tea.

    CHARLES CHOCOLATES TALK WITH GARY GUITTARD

    This month we welcome Gary Guittard of Guittard Chocolates in Burlingame. Born and raised in San Francisco, Gary is now President and CEO of the Guittard Chocolate Company. When Gary joined the family business in 1975, he was in charge of developing specialty chocolates, and he often traveled abroad with his father, Horace A., soaking up every nuance of the chocolate making business. By 1989, when he became President and CEO of the Guittard Chocolate Company, Gary fully understood that chocolate making is an art form, complex and demanding, requiring tireless effort throughout the process.


    Please join us as Gary shares his extensive knowledge of all things chocolate.
