We have partnered with our friends at Miette Patisserie & Confiserie to create Easter baskets featuring the best of both worlds: the finest chocolates from Charles Chocolates, and sweet treats from Miette. We’ve incorporated charming, nostalgic candies like malt balls, jelly beans, and gumballs from Miette into our Easter baskets, as well as their classic organic cookies, all tied with a sweet bow. Our Fleur de Sel Caramels are made with one of the most expensive salts in the world for a decadent caramel experience. We’ve taken our Fleur de Sel Caramel, enrobed it in 65% bittersweet chocolate, and coated them in toasted almonds. Ten of our Caramel Almond Sticks come in each 3.5 oz. bag. CHOCOLATE TASTINGS AT EMERYVILLE STORE
This week, the Charles Chocolates candy case opened for business, and our chocolates are now available for purchase by the piece. Yes, you can now have an entire box of peanut butterflies. Or, a box filled just with mojito hearts. View the entire array of our confections, and select a few pieces of your favorites, or create your own custom box of confections.

Each Saturday in March, we will feature different confections at our FREE Saturday Chocolate Tastings. Saturday March 24 features our Passover treats and delicious Miette cookies from our Easter Baskets, and Saturday March 31 we will sample more items from our Easter baskets.

By end of April 2007, our new café and factory will open, which will feature hot chocolate, homemade ice cream, homemade pastries, and Blue Bottle coffee. From the seating in the café, you will have a view into our 6,700-square foot kitchen and be able to watch as our chocolates are made. Our store address is: 6529 Hollis Street (at 65th) in Emeryville, California. The store is open daily from 11 am – 7 pm.
